Tasty Cajun at Papa Roux

All-in-all Papa Roux is a neat little Cajun dive. The food, with a couple of exceptions, is toned down for the Hoosier palate but with that divine homemade hot sauce, pepper bellies like me can get all the flavor and spice we want! Read More at The Whole Hog

Good Mediterranean Lunch at Mediterrano Cafe

The Mediteranno Cafe is a great diversion from the ubiquitous hamburgers, burritos, and other fast food fair that a 30 minute workday lunch usually offers. The food is fresh, if a bit bland, and there are some really great standouts on the buffet. Read More at The Whole Hog

Amazing Soul Food at Zacky’s Hot Dogs & BBQ

To think that Zacky’s Hot Dogs & BBQ is merely a hot dog and fry joint would be a serious mistake. Under all the Vienna hot dog signs and the different styles of dogs available on the menu beats the heart of a serious BBQ and Soul Food restaurant. Read More at The Whole Hog

Taste of Europe: An Eastern European Deli

Taste of Europe is a little Eastern European Deli in an industrial area on the northwest side of Indianapolis that serves hot food in a small dining room off to the side of the store. It is a great place to go if you want a good lunch or dinner with no frills. The food is fresh, satisfying and above all delicious. Just don’t go there expecting to eat and leave because it’s guaranteed you’ll find something else in the store to add to your bill! Read More at The Whole Hog

The worst thing a restaurant can do is serve something that is less than fresh to a customer. Once detected, it makes the customers question everything they’ve eaten that evening. In summary: I wouldn’t bother. Read More at The Whole Hog
