Pub Food at Lord Ashley’s is Disappointing

I cannot really recommend this restaurant. I’m not even sure I am willing to go back to give them a second chance. The worst thing a restaurant can do is serve something that is less than fresh to a customer. Once detected, it makes the customers question everything they’ve eaten that evening. In summary: I wouldn’t bother. Read More at The Whole Hog

Great Vietnamese at Saigon Restaurant

Interested in a new, light, and tongue pleasing experience? Then look no further than the Saigon Vietnamese Restaurant. They have the flavors and freshness to please you and enough variety to keep you coming back for more. This was definitely one of my better dining experiences in the last year and I’m looking forward to my next visit. Read More at The Whole Hog

Good Mediterranean at Al Basha

If you want good Middle Eastern food, Al Basha is a pretty good place. It’s kind of hard to find though. It’s back behind the water store on Allisonville Road south of 116th street. If you go past the airfield you’ve gone too far. I think you’ll really like it. And their prices are pretty good too! Read More at The Whole Hog

Standard Pub Fare at B&C’s Hideout Restaurant

The restaurant is very clean and the service is great, but the food and flavors are predictable, the tenderloin being a very pleasant exception. In summary: Order the tenderloin. Read More at The Whole Hog

Fat Dan’s Chicago Style Deli

Fat Dan’s Chicago Style Deli is burger and dog joint that just happens to sell pretty good barbecue as well. The restaurant is ideally located as a meeting place to stop in at with friends for good beer and a meal before heading into Broad Ripple. In summary; the service is good, the food is fresh, it tastes great, and there is plenty of it. I’d be happy to go back any time. Read More at The Whole Hog

Taste of Europe: An Eastern European Deli

Taste of Europe is a little Eastern European Deli in an industrial area on the northwest side of Indianapolis that serves hot food in a small dining room off to the side of the store. It is a great place to go if you want a good lunch or dinner with no frills. The food is fresh, satisfying and above all delicious. Just don’t go there expecting to eat and leave because it’s guaranteed you’ll find something else in the store to add to your bill! Read More at The Whole Hog
