Outstanding Mediterranean Food at Istanbul Cafe
At the Istanbul Café, you cannot go wrong. The food is as fresh as possible, the flavors are spot on. This is the type of place you might take a date you want to impress; you’re significant other for a romantic dinner or anniversary, or just to have a special night out. But don’t let that keep you from going there any time you feel like having a great Turkish meal. And you can have a gourmet meal that won’t break the bank! In summary: The authentic food and flavors of the Istanbul Café took me back to my youthful years in Europe. That combined with the friendly service, cleanliness, and uplifting atmosphere earns the Istanbul Café my highest rating. The food literally gave me goose bumps! Read More at The Whole Hog
Bando Korean Restaurant
Bando Korean Restaurant is a once popular place that has definitely seen better days. While I enjoyed the flavors, the portions were skimpy and mostly filler. While Bando Korean Restaurant’s food warrants one piggy, I don’t recommend going here because of the ambiance and cleanliness of the joint. Read More at The Whole Hog
Good Mediterranean Lunch at Mediterrano Cafe
The Mediteranno Cafe is a great diversion from the ubiquitous hamburgers, burritos, and other fast food fair that a 30 minute workday lunch usually offers. The food is fresh, if a bit bland, and there are some really great standouts on the buffet. Read More at The Whole Hog
Overpriced Gourmet at The Local
Overall I was disappointed with my lunch at The Local. The only reason I’m giving the place a positive rating on the food is because of my previous experiences there. I am willing to go back; however, and give them another chance at a better rating because I know they have and can do better. Unfortunately, I am unable to recommend any one dish because the menu is always changing. Consider that a good thing. Read More at The Whole Hog

Clay Oven Indian Restaurant
One of the great things about Indian food is that you can satisfy a wide variety of tastes and dietary requirements with one cuisine. There’s something for the carnivore, as long as the carnivore likes chicken, and there’s something for the vegan, vegetarian, and diet conscious. Indian is really one of the best choices to serve when feeding a diverse group of people.
In summary: It’s a great lunch for a great price; however, if you want the heat, order off the menu. Read More at The Whole Hog
Standard Pub Fare at B&C’s Hideout Restaurant
The restaurant is very clean and the service is great, but the food and flavors are predictable, the tenderloin being a very pleasant exception. In summary: Order the tenderloin. Read More at The Whole Hog
